Egypt enforces new rule requiring hotels in coastal tourism projects

Arab Finance: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that no coastal tourism project will be allowed to operate in the coming period unless the hotel component is completed, not just the real estate section, as per a statement.

He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the North Coast area remains inhabited by residents and tourists throughout the year, not limited to the summer season.

Madbouly further directs the assignment of a consulting office to develop a comprehensive vision for the West Coast, covering a depth of at least 10 kilometers inland.
