Arab Finance: The eighth edition of the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition (EGYPES 2025) will take place from February 17th to 19th, under the slogan "Building a Secure and Sustainable Energy Future," Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi announced.
The event will be held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, focusing on energy security, sustainability, and regional cooperation in the energy sector.
Badawi revealed that Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides will attend the opening ceremony.
Important agreements will be signed to enhance cooperation between Egypt and Cyprus in the natural gas sector, capitalizing on Egypt’s strategic role as a regional energy hub.
These agreements will allow Cyprus to utilize Egypt’s infrastructure to re-export its natural gas, creating mutual economic benefits for both countries and their international energy partners.
EGYPES 2025 will also witness the signing of significant cooperation agreements in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
