Arab Finance: Hassan Allam Holding has launched Jinet Agriculture Corporation, a new subsidiary focused on enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability in Egypt, as per an emailed press release.
As part of this expansion, Jinet Agriculture has acquired 14,100 feddans of agricultural land in the West Minya extension from the Egyptian Countryside Development Company (El Reef El Masry).
The land will be used to cultivate various crops to meet local market needs and boost export opportunities.
The project supports global sustainable development goals by increasing agricultural output, creating jobs, and contributing to Egypt’s economic development.
It also aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030, aiming to reduce import reliance, promote high-value crop exports, and develop large-scale food processing industries to strengthen the agribusiness sector.
“The launch of Jinet Agriculture Corporation marks a significant addition to our commitment to developing communities and investing in accretive businesses that create lasting value. This expansion into agriculture and cultivation aligns with our broader vision of driving sustainable growth and making a meaningful impact in the regions where we operate,” CEO of Hassan Allam Holding Hassan Allam said.
