Arab Finance: A consortium of Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Company (EGYtrans) and Nafith International Group signed an agreement with the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) to develop an advanced truck marshaling yard and digital solutions to address operation challenges and traffic congestion at West Port Said port, according to a statement.
As part of this cooperation, EGYtrans and Nafith International will launch Nafith Egypt, a new joint venture (JV) with a capital of EGP 60 million, to digitalize operations at Egyptian ports.
Nafith International will hold 70% of the new JV's shares, while EGYtrans will own the remaining 30% stake.
The joint project aims to streamline trucking processes, improve port performance, and reduce environmental impact, promoting efficiency and sustainability.
