Arab Finance: Prices of meat and poultry in Egypt rose by 5.0% month-on-month (MoM) in January, CAPMAS reported.

Moreover, the prices of dairy products, cheese, and eggs inched up by 0.3%.

On the other hand, the fish and seafood group saw a 0.3% MoM fall in prices last January.

It is worth noting that the consumer price index (CPI) for the food and non-alcoholic segment recorded a 2.1% MoM increase in January 2025.
