Didi Egypt partners with TAQA Arabia's Master Gas to promote CNG adoption

Arab Finance: Didi Egypt has entered a strategic partnership with Master Gas, a subsidiary of TAQA Arabia Group and a leading distributor of compressed natural gas (CNG), to encourage the use of CNG among its drivers, as per an emailed press release.
The agreement offers financial benefits and loyalty programs to incentivize drivers to convert their vehicles to natural gas, marking a key step toward promoting sustainability in Egypt’s transportation sector.
Under the agreement, Didi Egypt drivers will receive discounted CNG conversion services at Master Gas conversion centers, with flexible payment options, including installment plans.
This initiative is expected to reduce drivers’ fuel costs by around 20%, making the switch to natural gas more affordable.
The partnership also features an innovative loyalty program that provides additional incentives and rewards for drivers, particularly during refueling.
Drivers will benefit from a comprehensive 12-month warranty on conversion services, ensuring reliability and peace of mind.
This collaboration supports Egypt’s broader sustainability goals by promoting environmentally friendly fuel alternatives while offering Didi Egypt drivers cost-effective solutions and long-term financial advantages.
