PepsiCo Egypt appoints Karim Khedr as SVP, CEO

Arab Finance: PepsiCo Egypt has appointed Karim Khedr as its Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), according to an emailed press release.

Khedr will lead the company’s next phase of growth and innovation while strengthening its market position and role as a major contributor to the local economy.

He has over 24 years of experience in the food, beverage, oil, and gas industries, including 16 years at PepsiCo.

He started his journey at PepsiCo Egypt, where he held various roles for seven years, eventually becoming Senior Sales Director, and later taking on leadership positions in the Middle East and Asia.

Before his new role, Khedr served as General Manager and Vice President of the Saudi and Levant Beverage Cluster, as well as Vice President of Beverages for Southeast Asia, overseeing operations in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
