EKH’s board approves dividends for 2024, capital hike

Arab Finance: The board members of Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding (EKH) greenlit dividends distribution representing 19% of the company’s issued and paid-up capital, equivalent to $53.527 million, for 2024, according to a bourse disclosure.

The proposal includes the payment of cash dividends worth a total of $39.440 million or $3.5 per share, accounting for 14% of the issued and paid-up capital, as well as the disbursement of 1:20 bonus shares worth $14.086 million, equivalent to 5% of the issued and paid-up capital.

The dividends distribution aims at raising the company's issued and paid-up capital to $295.809 million from $281.721 million. This increased amount will be distributed over 56.344 million shares with a nominal value of $0.25 per share.
