Visa launches Tap-to-Add Card solution to boost digital payments in Egypt

Arab Finance: Visa has launched the Tap-to-Add Card in Egypt to promote the use of digital wallets, providing customers with a more secure and seamless payment experience, according to an emailed press release.
This solution will enable cardholders to add their Visa contactless cards to digital wallets with a simple tap on their mobile device.
In this regard, customers can skip the manual entry process, eliminating any source of errors and vulnerability exploited by scammers.
Tap to Add Card is created to benefit all stakeholders in the payment's ecosystem, as it provides an experience similar to in-store payments.
Cardholders will have access to a faster, more convenient, and more secure way to add cards to their digital wallets, encouraging greater adoption of digital payments.
As for issuers, this feature can help lower the risk and associated costs of provisioning fraud, simplifies the add-to-wallet process, and enhances transaction approval rates.
