Egypt, France discuss boosting economic cooperation

Arab Finance: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed ways to enhance cooperation in economic fields and expand French investments in Egypt, as per a statement.

El-Sisi and Macron also witnessed the signing of several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between the two countries, according to Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency Mohamed El-Shennawy.

They elevated new strategic partnerships in railway industry localization, technical and vocational training, AI, cybersecurity, and green hydrogen production.

The two leaders stressed the need to build on the outcomes of the Egypt-France Economic Forum, which was held on April 7th, to drive economic development.
