Arab Finance: EFG Holding plans to implement seven offerings in the Gulf region in 2025, with an aggregated value of $10 billion, Mostafa Gad, co-head of the promotion and underwriting sector at EFG Hermes, told Asharq Business.

The offerings include five transactions in Saudi Arabia, Gad added.

He noted that the group is also working on two government initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in the services and industrial sectors.

EFG Holding is also working on 10 mergers and acquisitions (M&As) this year at values ranging between $6 and $8 billion, of which deals in Egypt are making up between 40% and 50%.

On the sidelines of the 19th EFG Hermes Annual One-on-One Investor Conference held in Dubai, Gad affirmed that the group did not postpone or cancel any of the offering plans.

Commenting on US President Donald Trump’s 10% baseline tariff, the official elaborated that it is difficult to make any decisions at the moment, noting that any plans will depend on the market's outlook.
