Arab Finance: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi has inaugurated a new integrated operations center for Saudi Industrialization and Energy Services Company (TAQA) in Egypt, according to a statement.
Located in Katameya, the center serves as a major hub for managing the company's business in Egypt and the region.
It is also considered a launching pad for its operations in the African continent, capitalizing on Egypt's promising opportunities, logistical advantages, advanced infrastructure, and distinguished geographical location.
In line with the ministry’s strategy to unlock the energy sector’s potential in Egypt and the region, Badawi affirmed commitment to cooperating with TAQA in expanding production through advanced technological solutions.
He added that the Saudi group will support the mining sector through renewable energy projects, reducing emissions and enhancing safety and energy efficiency systems.
TAQA offers its products and services in the energy industry, focusing on technology, innovation, and sustainability.
