Madbouly declares September 4th as official holiday for Prophet Muhammad’s birthday

Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has issued a decree declaring Thursday, September 4th, 2025, as an official paid holiday on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad's birthday, as per a statement.

The day coincides with the 12th of Rabi' Al-Awwal of the Hijri year 1447.

The decision applies to employees in ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.
