Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has banned international foreign-currency transactions via some pre-paid cards, Masaa DMC’s Ramy Radwan reported on May 31^st, citing the bank.

The ban is applied only to pre-paid cards, given that they are not linked to bank accounts.

Credit and debit cards are excluded from this decision.
