Arab Finance: Siemens has opened the first Smart Cities Experience Center in Egypt, combining the real and digital worlds, as per an emailed press release on June 4^th.

Located at Siemens’ headquarters in Cairo, the center presents the latest technological solutions and applications to create sustainable and efficient infrastructure, buildings, and industries in smart cities.

The Smart Cities Experience Center aims to provide an integrated and rich experience based on real projects executed by the company, which ensures the implementation of successful smart cities on the ground.

The new center will enable visitors to realize the benefits of transforming our current communities and cities into smart cities, along with getting acquainted with the latest smart infrastructure technologies for buildings and cities, including low and medium-voltage electricity connection lines, energy management mechanisms, intelligent power distribution solutions, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems for water, natural gas, and electricity utilities management.
