Egypt to host 8th AIIB annual meetings in September

Arab Finance: Egypt is preparing to host the eighth annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Sharm El-Sheikh on September 25th and 26th, Ministry of Finance announced on June 13th.

This is the first time for Egypt to host the AIIB’s annual meetings.

Finance Minister and Governor of Egypt at AIIB Mohamed Maait said that the annual meeting of the AIIB is a crucial forum for strengthening the means of the development collaboration between African and Asian nations.

Maait also emphasized his country's eagerness to broaden its horizons in order to encourage both domestic and international investment in collaboration with the private sector, which helps draw in more investors.
