ODE names Wael Al Lawati as its Omani Destinations’ CEO

 Arab Finance: Orascom Development Egypt (ODE) (ORHD) has appointed Wael Al Lawati as the new CEO of its Omani destinations of Muriya, including the awarding-winning communities of Jebel Sifah and Hawana Salalah, according to an emailed press release on January 31st.

Al Lawati enjoys a wealthy experience in tourism, real estate, and other sectors. He also held several other leadership positions, such as CEO of Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN).

He is also the founder of founder of The Wave Muscat (AlMouj), where he led the first integrated tourism and real estate development company in the Sultanate of Oman.

 “I am excited to be joining the Orascom Development team and leading its Oman destinations. Jebel Sifah and Hawana Salalah are among the largest integrated tourism destinations in Oman, committed to benefiting the local community and contributing to developing the Sultanate of Oman.” Al Lawati stated.
