Arab Finance: The Ministry of Finance agreed to make some amendments to the customs law to enable tourists and transients of purchasing a maximum of three liters of alcohol from state-owned duty-free shops, up from two liters now, Al Mal News reported.
The additional liter of alcohol will be subject to fees equal to 25% of the customs rate.
Meanwhile, the buyer will still be taxed the current 1% rate on the first two liters.
