NBE offers 3-year USD-saving certificates

Arab Finance: National Bank of Egypt (NBE) will offer new three-year certificates of deposit (CDs), Al Ahly Fawran and Al Ahly Plus, in US dollars, starting Wednesday, July 26^th, the lender announced on July 25^th.

Al Ahly Fawran CD is offered at a minimum purchase amount of $1000 and its multiples, with an annual yield of 9%.

The CDs’ return is disbursed in advance for the three years in Egyptian pound at an accumulative rate of 27%.

Al Ahly Plus CD is also offered at a minimum purchase amount of $1000 and its multiples, with a return of 7% annually that is paid quarterly in US dollars.
