Egypt discusses bilateral trade cooperation with Azerbaijan

Arab Finance: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku, along with the country's business leaders, to discuss bilateral trade exchange, according to a presidential statement on January 28th.

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Planning Minister Hala signed several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on water security, trade, and culture, according to the Azerbaijani presidential office.

During the meeting, El-Sisi stressed on the importance of reinforcing trade exchange between the two countries to raise it to the level of joint political relations.

This shall also come in line with the promising capabilities of the two countries in manufacturing and exporting, which will be discussed in-depth by the two parties in the sixth edition of the joint committee set to be held in Cairo next year, El-Sisi added.
