Arab Finance: The Egyptian Mercantile Exchange (EMX) will see trading on sugar as of August 17^th, Ibrahim Ashmawy, Chairman of the EMX, told Asharq Business.

Sugar marks the fourth commodity to be offered on EMX after wheat, yellow corn, and bran, he added.

He added that Egypt will also sell gold, iron, cotton, and petrochemical commodities on EMX in the near future.

On April 13^th, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC0) started selling yellow corn on the EMX.
