Arab Finance: The Egyptian National Railways (ENR) announced that passengers now can book train tickets for third-class air-conditioned railcars with dynamic ventilation via Fawry e-payment outlets across the country, as per a statement on August 27^th.

The move aims to increase train tickets’ points of sale as well as facilitate the process of buying tickets through Fawry outlets, which operate around the clock.

It also aims to reduce congestion at ticket offices in the stations.

In case of trip cancellations, customers will be refunded in cash from ticket offices.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian Ministry of Transport launched earlier ENR Tickets, a new mobile app allowing passengers to book train tickets online via bank cards and e-payment means.
