Arab Finance: Al-Futtaim Real Estate in Cairo (AFRE) has partnered with the American University in Cairo (AUC) to integrate their expertise, with the aim of enriching the educational experience of architecture students, as per an emailed press release.
Under the deal, AFRE and the AUC will provide a series of collaborative activities, which will contribute to the redefinition of architectural education.
It will offer AUC students a training opportunity at AFRE to gain professional experience by being involved in active projects.
Moreover, both sides will execute tailored programs, including the Real Estate Academy and Internship program, which align with the operations implemented by AFRE to provide a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
Additionally, AFRE will sponsor research and design competitions.
“It signifies a pivotal moment in the world of architectural education, where academia and industry seamlessly converge to shape the future of potential architects, leaving an impact on the architectural landscape in Egypt,” AFRE’s Managing Director Ashraf Ezz El Din commented on the partnership.
