EGX to close September 28th in celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced that Thursday, September 28th, 2023, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, according to a statement.

The EGX will resume trading sessions on Sunday, October 1st, 2023.

The Egyptian cabinet and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) echoed the same sentiment before.
