EFG Hermes’ consolidated profits jump 68.4% YoY in 9 months

Arab Finance: EFG Hermes Holding (HRHO) reported a 68.4% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profits excluding non-interest for the first nine months of 2023, according to the financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 15th.

Consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company stood at EGP 1.685 billion in the nine months to September 30th, compared to EGP 1,001 billion in the same period of 2022.

Total consolidated revenues hit EGP 10.490 billion during the first nine months of this year, up from EGP 6.312 billion in the same period a year earlier.

At the level of the standalone financial statement, the company recorded a standalone net profit of EGP 625.076 million from January through September, dropping from EGP 3.241 billion in the corresponding period of 2022.

Meanwhile, standalone revenues fell to EGP 2.011 billion from EGP 3.972 billion.
