CI-Capital to manage Halal Islamic Fund by next April

Cairo: With the aim of bolstering its performance and returns, CI-Captial Holding is going to manage the Arab Investment Bank's Halal Islamic Fund by next April.

" CI-Capital Holding was tasked last month with managing the Islamic Fund which invests in stocks in Shariah-compliant manner," head of asset management department Aamr Abu El Enen told Al-Mal newspaper.

" My firm seeks to apply a strategy that could help improve the Islamic fund performance, and boost its returns through upgrading staff's marketing skills."

The Hala Islamic Fund, established by the Arab Investment Bank in 2011, snatched the 8th ranking amongst the Islamic mutual funds which injects 90% investments of their capitalization in stocks of companies listed in the exchanges.
