TAQA Arabia’s subsidiary to install 14 EV charging stations in Wadi Degla’s projects

Arab Finance: TAQA Volt, a subsidiary of TAQA Arabia group’s electricity operating arm TAQA Power, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Wadi Degla Developments to meet the increasing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) and sustainable living solutions, according to an emailed press release.

This partnership aims to install more than 14 EV charging stations across Wadi Degla’s real estate projects and communities.

The initiative seeks to promote the Egyptian sustainable transportation infrastructure as well as meeting the needs of the environmentally conscious consumers.

"Our collaboration with Wadi Degla Developments will entail the installation of charging stations designed to be compatible with all EVs, prioritizing durability, reliability, and user-friendliness to ensure customer satisfaction." Managing Director of TAQA Power Samy Abdel Kader commented.

“This shift in consumer behavior towards greener mobility solutions highlights the imperative need for a robust EV charging infrastructure, a primary focus of our partnership with TAQA Arabia,” CEO of Wadi Degla Developments Raymond Ahdy remarked.
