SCZone begins trial operation of new berth in Arish port

Arab Finance: The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) announced that the trial operation of a new 915-kilometer-berth at Al-Arish port has kicked off, Chairman of SCZone Waleid Gamal El-Dein stated on February 21st.

The berth received its first vessel shipped with humanitarian aid for the earthquake-hit countries, Turkey and Syria.

On January 14th, the SCZone announced that the renovation process of Al-Arish port will be finalized during the first quarter (Q1) of 2024.
