Egypt seeks cooperation with Huawei Technologies to improve healthcare system

Arab Finance: Egypt Healthcare Authority is seeking cooperation with of Huawei Technologies to implement the authority’s future plans to develop its system in terms of cyber security, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence (AI), according to a statement on March 20th.

Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority and Assistant Minister of Health Ahmed El-Sobky met with a delegation from Huawei, headed by Maben, board member, and managing director of public affairs and communication department at Huawei Egypt, to discuss ways to boost cooperation between the two sides.

The meeting tackled ways to exchange experiences and joint cooperation to enhance the use of AI technology in the Egyptian healthcare system.

Maben praised the healthcare authority for having a prominent infrastructure and a huge supportive manpower in the field of information technology and digital transformation.
