Egypt releases corn, soybean fodder worth $82M in 7 days

Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 160,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder worth $82 million from the country’s ports over the period from June 9th to 15th, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated on June 19th.

The released fodder included 118,000 tons of corn worth $42 million, 42,000 tons of soybeans worth $31 million, and feed additives worth $9 million.

This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022, to June 15th, 2023, to 5.8 million tons, including 4.3 million tons of corn and 1.5 million tons of soybeans and feed additives valued at a total of $2.8 billion.
