Egypt releases corn, soybean fodder worth $100M in two weeks

Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 185,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder valued at $100 million from the country’s ports over the period from June 23rd to July 6th, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated on July 10th.

The released fodder included 107,000 tons of corn worth $39 million, 78,000 tons of soybeans worth $59 million, and feed additives worth $2 million.

This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022, to July 6th, 2023, to 6.5 million tons, including 4.5 million tons of corn and 2 million tons of soybeans and feed additives valued at a total of $3 billion.
