Egypt releases corn, soybean fodder worth $92M in 5 days

Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 181,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder valued at $92 million from the country’s ports over the period from July 14th to 19th, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated on July 25th.

The released fodder included 126,000 tons of corn worth $45 million, 55,000 tons of soybeans worth $41 million, and feed additives worth $6 million.

This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022, to July 19th, 2023, to 6.5 million tons, including 4.7 million tons of corn and 1.8 million tons of soybeans and feed additives valued at a total of $3.2 billion.
