Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 378,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder valued at $183 million from the country’s ports over the period from July 20th to August 3rd, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated on August 7th.
The released fodder included 282,000 tons of corn worth $101 million, 96,000 tons of soybeans worth $73 million, and feed additives worth $9 million.
This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022, to August 3rd, 2023, to 7 million tons, including 5 million tons of corn and 2 million tons of soybeans and feed additives valued at a total of $3.3 billion.
