Arab Finance: The Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) has signed a cooperation protocol with New Valley University to finance an environmental project with EGP 2 million, according to a statement from the Ministry of Environment.
The project aims to use solar energy as an environmentally friendly renewable energy and as an alternative to fossil fuels (diesel) in all buildings of the university.
The protocol was signed by EEAA CEO Ali Abu Sunna and New Valley University President Abdel Aziz Tantawi, in the presence of Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad.
This cooperation comes within the framework of the environment ministry's efforts to support and encourage pioneering environmental projects and their integration with the Egyptian state's plan, Fouad said.
