Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 167,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder worth $75 million from the country’s ports over the period from August 18th to 24th, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated.
The released fodder included 138,000 tons of corn worth $50 million, 29,000 tons of soybeans worth $21 million, and feed additives worth $4 million.
This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022, to August 24th, 2023, to 7.3 million tons, including 5.3 million tons of corn and 2 million tons of soybeans and feed additives valued at a total of $3.5 billion.
