Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 276,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder worth $116 million from the country’s ports over the period from August 25th to September 7th, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated.
The released fodder included 253,000 tons of corn worth $91 million, 23,000 tons of soybeans worth $17 million, and feed additives worth $8 million.
This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022, to September 7th, 2023, to 7.6 million tons worth $3.6 billion.
