Top Employment Sectors in Egypt for Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024, agriculture and fishing led the employment sectors in Egypt, with 5.74 million employees, accounting for 18.5% of the country’s total employment, as per CAPMAS.

Wholesale and retail followed with 4.96 million, representing 16% of total employment. Meanwhile, transformative industries saw employment of 4.13 million, making up 13.3% of the total.
