Egypt’s BoP Achieves An Overall Surplus in FY 2022/23

Egypt’s balance of payment (BoP) saw an overall surplus of $882.4 million during the fiscal year (FY) 2022/23, according to a report by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The current account deficit narrowed by 71.5% to $4.7 billion last FY.

The capital and financial account registered a net inflow of $8.9 billion.
