Egyptian Citizen Budget for FY 2024-25

Egypt's citizen budget for FY2024/25 outlines key allocations across various sectors, according to the Ministry of Finance. 

The government has allocated EGP 154.5 billion for fuel subsidies and EGP 134.2 billion for commodities subsidies.  

Social pensions, including Takaful and Karama, will receive EGP 40 billion, while health insurance is allocated EGP 18.4 billion.  

Social housing projects are set to receive EGP 11.9 billion, and EGP 3.5 billion is earmarked for natural gas connections.  

A sum of EGP 40.5 billion was allocated to finance initiatives aiming at promoting economic growth, especially those supporting the industrial and export sectors.
