NBE to invest EGP 5B in 2024

Arab Finance: The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) intends to invest up to EGP 5 billion in new and existing projects during 2024, Ahmed Al-Saeed, head of the bank’s investment sector, told Asharq Business.

The new investments will be directed to six projects, of which EGP 300 million will be utilized to expand into companies the bank invests in by increasing their capital, he said.

Al-Saeed added that the new investments will be made into the sectors of financial technology, real estate development, chemical industries, and engineering industries.
