Arab Finance: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour has, visited the campus of El Sewedy University of Technology on the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road, as per an emailed press release.
Accompanied by the CEO of El Sewedy Ed Tech Hanan El Rihany and the university president Ayman Bahaa El-Din, the minister’s tour included inspecting the university's buildings and facilities.
Ashour praised the university, considering it a significant addition to the higher education and scientific research system in Egypt and the Arab world.
For her part, El Rihany presented a detailed overview of the university, emphasizing its design as an intelligent institution that prioritizes practical aspects in its educational programs, offering a learning experience focused on practical applications by 60% of the study content.
She highlighted the university's success in attracting 550 students, both Egyptians and foreigners, across various programs shortly after its opening, reflecting the positive response and considerable interest in their distinguished educational programs.
The university has also signed a series of strategic cooperation agreements with industry partners to enable practical training for students during their study period and utilize laboratories, factories, and facilities belonging to these partners, El Rihany pointed out.
Meanwhile, Bahaa El-Din explained that El Sewedy University of Technology is the first polytechnic university in Egypt, serving as a model for international higher education focusing on practical aspects, professional training, and innovation.
