World Bank's active portfolio in Egypt hits $7B

Arab Finance: The World Bank's active portfolio in Egypt covers 14 projects at a combined value of nearly $7 billion, according to a statement by the Egyptian cabinet on January 23rd.

The portfolio also includes 23 projects for technical support and consulting.

These remarks were made by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly during a meeting to follow up on cooperation areas with the World Bank.

During the meeting, representatives of the World Bank presented the latest updates on the cooperation program with Egypt across various fields, including social protection.
