Arab Finance: The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement (UPA) to activate the pharmaceutical track and trace system, as per a statement.

The pharmaceutical track and trace system is an electronic system used to monitor flow of pharmaceutical products throughout the supply chain from manufacturing to distribution.

The MoU aims to apply the pharmaceutical track and trace system in all related entities by providing the needed data and information according to the governing regulations.

This came on the sidelines of the 3rd edition of the Africa Health ExCon.
