Transport Ministry to hand over 2 Sokhna terminals to AD Ports by Q1 2025

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Ministry of Transport is seeking to transfer two marine terminals at Ain Sokhna Port to Abu Dhabi Ports Group (AD Ports) by the end of the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, sources familiar with the matter told Al Mal News.

The terminals will be handed over after the completion of final contract adjustments, which are expected to be approved by Egypt’s House of Representatives.

This step follows the sealed agreement between the ministry and AD Ports last June.
