Fourth review of Egypt's IMF program postponed to November

Arab Finance: The fourth review of Egypt's program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been postponed to November 1st, following the conclusion of the fund's annual meetings in Washington, unnamed sources familiar with the matter told Al Arabiya Business.

This marks the second delay of the review, which was initially scheduled for early September before being pushed to October and now to November.

The review is linked to a $1.3 billion disbursement from the IMF, as part of Egypt's $8 billion financial support package.

Last week, the IMF announced that it had relaxed certain conditions in the agreement, giving Egypt additional time to implement key reforms.

On the same day, an unnamed government official told Asharq Business that the review was set to take place in November.
