Arab Finance: The House of Representatives has approved two grant agreements to drive economic development in the field of ecosystems and boost sustainable green energy sources, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat stated.

The first agreement includes an amendment to the assistance grant agreement between Egypt and the US on the climate change initiative.

The amendment covers the addition of $5.5 million, bringing the total US contribution to the deal to $20.5 million, along with the inclusion of new activities.

Meanwhile, the second agreement encompasses the Preparatory Technical Support Project for Sludge Management in Egypt, funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) under a €2 million grant in favor of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities.
