Arab Finance: The cabinet has approved a presidential draft resolution on amending the executive regulations of the private and national universities law, as per a statement.

The amendment includes a provision that replaced the phrase "council of private and national universities" with the phrase "council of private universities and council of national universities."

It also stipulates that the Higher Education Minister shall be in charge of selecting the secretary of both councils for a two-year renewable term.

Moreover, the cabinet authorized the disbursement of a social allowance to citizens for buildings constructed on state-owned lands that interfere with the development and expansion of the Al Dabaa-Matrouh international coastal road.
