Cabinet nods to establishing Al Ahly Industrial Development’s investment zone in Giza

Arab Finance: The cabinet has ratified the establishment of an investment zone for Al Ahly Industrial Development in Abu Rawash Industrial Zone in Giza, as per a statement.

The zone will be set up on an area of 2 million square meters, with the aim of establishing an integrated industrial park for small and medium-sized industries.

It will also comprise logistics, service, and commercial activities, as well as food security projects.

It is worth noting that the project is worth up to $10 million in investments, and is set to create more than 300 job opportunities.

The annual production capacity of the project’s first phase is expected to reach 2,500 tons per season.

The cabinet has also endorsed a draft law on the regulation of the specialized healthcare centers.

The draft stipulates that the specialized healthcare centers shall be established upon a decision by the Prime Minister, based on a proposal submitted by the Health Minister.

The centers shall offer comprehensive medical and therapeutic care in specialized fields, improve the effectiveness of healthcare services for the public, and manage these services so that they do not strain the state’s budget.

Furthermore, the cabinet has authorized an agreement between the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance and eHealth to manage and operate the comprehensive health insurance system’s technological services and the specialized digital services for the health and health insurance sectors nationwide for two years.
