Germany’s Knauf to set up €80M gypsum board factory in Egypt

Arab Finance: The German construction materials manufacturer Knauf is planning to open its third gypsum board factory in Egypt, with direct investments of €80 million, General Manager of Knauf Egypt Mohamed Abdelrasoul stated.

The new factory is set to scale up the company’s total production capacity to 60 million square meters of gypsum boards annually, Abdelrasoul noted.

It will also reduce water and energy consumption by 35%, contributing to eliminating harmful emissions, he added.
