CBE raises transaction limits for financial inclusion products

Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has approved an increase in transaction limits for financial inclusion products, unnamed sources in the know told Asharq Business.

The updated limits allow individuals to conduct monthly transactions, including withdrawals, transfers, and purchases, up to EGP 300,000, while micro-enterprises can transact up to EGP 600,000 monthly.

The daily transaction limits have also been raised to EGP 90,000 for individuals and EGP 120,000 for micro-enterprises.
